A residence hovering above the coastline, using broad planes and warm light to frame the horizon. Its elongated form follows the contours of the site and opens the principal rooms toward the water. Recessed terraces create protected places to sit between the interior and the exposed landscape. Concrete, glass and timber are balanced to give the architecture both weight and lightness.
